The final mosaic

This post is part of the General Conference Odyssey. This week covers the Saturday Morning Session of the October 1984 Conference.
Elder Maxwell on understanding it all someday:
The final mosaic of the Restoration will be resplendent, reflecting divine design and the same centerpiece—the Father’s plan of salvation and exaltation and the atonement of His Son, Jesus Christ.
At the perfect day, we will see that we have been a part of things too wonderful for us. Part of the marvel and the wonder of God’s “marvelous work and a wonder” will be how perfect Divinity mercifully used us—imperfect humanity.

  1. I love that line — that we have been a part of things too wonderful for us. I glimpse it and feel it’s truth occasionally. And sense that it is happening right now amidst things like . . . Abe leaving us and going on a mission and me feeling all lost and at sea about it. But still. That feeling. That I am a part of some huge . . . well, mosaic being created like Maxwell said I guess.
