Every year, I am amazed again at the beauty in our mountains! I love it so much. Sorry if it's picture overload.

Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.
--T.S. Eliot

ReplyDeleteAh, those beautiful Utah mountains. Nothing can compare! Thanks for the closeups. I miss the red--we only get yellow here.

I'm experiencing major homesick pangs! Love the pics.
ReplyDeleteOh, Mar - I wanted to go up there so badly this fall, and never got to. We had too much work. I was ACHING to see this. I wonder if it's truly all unleaved by now? Every year I greave over it, worrying that it will be my last chance to see it with these eyes. Especially this year, with the intense color. At least you weren't shooting from the back of a horse who doesn't respect the urge to preserve. Thank you for taking these. Thank you so very much.
