I love the moon.
Did you see it a week or so ago when it was the "supermoon"? (I read that real astronomers don't like that term. They prefer the more straightforward "perigee full moon" or even the archaic term "Proxigean Moon." I don't even know what that latter means, but heaven forbid I offend an astronomer. I asked my astronomer brother if "supermoon" bothered him and he just smiled an inscrutable smile.)

ReplyDeleteI always try to shoot them. But they never look Proxigean when I do. The clouds were the best part. We ran down to the pasture to see it more clearly, though, and that was fun.
