Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.
--T.S. Eliot

You're LDS too? It's always great to meet another Mormon artist. Did you graduate from BYU's art department? My wife graduated from the history department back in 2000. We have a 2 year old and live near LA. I'm currently attending Art Center in Pasadena, CA and She's finishing her Masters in history at Cal State Northridge. I was stoked when I saw you were a member. Conference was great wasn't it? Take care.
ReplyDeleteThis is Sam's wife. (I'm usually the one posting on this blog.) Yep, we're LDS too. :) Sam is in the animation program at BYU; I graduated in music in 2002. Do you like living in California? Is your two year old a boy or girl? What kind of art do you do?
