The sun was so red last night from all the smoke in the air! It was really beautiful.

Sometimes we get a strange shade of peachy-yellow. I feel it in the air - probably actually catching it at the windows - and it always draws me outside. I don't know what makes it happen - it's rare, and very odd, and somehow disquieting. But I love it, too. I feel guilty loving the sunsets that are so lit by smoke. But they make the sky marvelously beautiful.
