Beautiful June

Do you remember when Daisy invited a bunch of friends to a party and NO ONE CAME? Goodness, that was so sad! But hallelujah, this time for the Game Night she planned, she had a great turnout and a really fun group. Malachi had invited a few friends to fill out the numbers just in case, but there were 12 or 13 of Daisy's friends that came, and Malachi's friends mostly ended up doing their own thing. It was a fun evening!
Do you see who else thought she was one of the big kids and joined the party?
Yes. This tiny girl.
These teenagers are very LOUD (and rather silly) but otherwise quite nice to have around!

Various and sundry other pictures…
Matching, always, with Evie…
…and sometimes with "Angus Sheepie" (I got him years ago in Edinburgh and named him Angus, but Clementine insisted on calling him Sheepie and reluctantly agreed to "Angus Sheepie" when I protested)

Gus in the dark cave he made (I think Ziggy and Goldie helped too)
One night the kids made little sleeping chambers for themselves.
Other than looking disconcertingly like coffins…they were quite cute.

Clementine was sick one day and it was quite pathetic. She just dragged around the house like a limp noodle, looking so sad. She is rarely ever sad (for long! she cries when someone is "mean to her" but always soon perks up again) so it was very unusual.

Her brothers and sisters made her various little nests to snuggle into, and Gus even let her read his precious Curious George books, which she is always begging to read!
But she couldn't even read them. She'd just fall asleep.
Poor lamb!

Provo in summer is so pretty! I love Y Mountain. We went there for the Premiere of the BYU Animation Department student film for this year. It was really good!
We saw the stuffed cougars in the WSC…
…so then of course Clementine and Gus had to go outside and play "cougars."
