A few pictures from this beautiful November. I can't remember a nicer one! Even if we had to enjoy it while watching our car be towed away… We were able to get it fixed, though, which with a car this old is a blessing every time.
Gus wearing Ziggy's old police costume and trying to look serious…
…with limited success.
Pirates??!
Gus, for reasons known only to himself, sometimes names (like, gives a name to) his clothing. It's so strange! But cute! He has one pajama suit named "Scheel's." And another named "Redding." "Redding" is this red-and-black plaid pattern, so when I got him this shirt, and Clementine a matching dress, he was very pleased to have another "Redding" to wear! He and Clementine ask me to take pictures of them practically every time they wear these.
With Caws
More twins—Teddy, and Junie wearing Daisy's jacket
An army of sweepers off to clean (?) the church
With Seb during a quick visit home (Teddy was getting sick here, and now that I look at this picture, I can see him starting to shiver with fever)
Ready for church
Kids playing a game where Ziggy is a basketball all-star and Clementine and Gus are his parents who come to cheer for him at every game
Solar lights in our tree
Ah, here is the original "Redding." We think Gus looks SO cute in these pajamas—like a long string bean! I don't know why they make him look so long and thin. A far cry from the squish he once was! (And still is…in spirit.)
Just documenting that it was still warm enough to hang the laundry outside on November 13th!
The pool had a swinging rope above it, and on the last day of lessons their teacher Miss Millie allowed them to try to jump for and grab it. It was funny just how utterly short of it Clementine and Gus fell.
Valiant effort by Gus
Zig had it in his hands for a second
And Teddy actually grabbed it and hung on!
Caw and Gus in elephant hats
Something about Clementine's casual pose while getting a drink just struck me
One point perspective drawings for school
Junie's ocean picture
Ziggy's made-up sea creatures
Another beautiful day
I went to Daisy's YW class activity and helped the girls do flower arrangements in pumpkins.
Pigs
Pretty sunset
A very pale glimpse of the Northern Lights
