Milky in Athens

Before going to Greece, Milky made a short stop in New York. She rode the train from the airport and met Sebastian at Penn Station.
It was Christmastime, so she was happy to spend time with various gnomes!
Then, at last, after a long plane ride,
and some sleeping in airports,
and a ride in a tiny elevator,
she was in Athens! She loved looking out at the view of the Acropolis!
She saw the Temple of Zeus (what there was of it!)…
…and Hadrian's Arch!
She hopped along the cobblestone streets.
She enjoyed Christmas decorations,
and the Greek donuts called Loukomades.
Everyone gets around Athens on a motorcycle. So Milky did too.
She loved the National Gardens.
Many of the streets were lined with olive trees. Milky found one just her size!
And there were clementine trees everywhere! Milky loved those most of all.
Milky doesn't speak Greek (she doesn't speak English either, only Bunny) but she liked looking at the Greek words on signs.
She loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the warm Greek sun. And she hoped if she just looked far enough…she might see Clementine in Utah looking back at her!
