Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.

I sleep like that, too. And then in the middle of the night, especially when I've taken my vitamins right before bed, I have to zombie down to the kitchen to get a handful of goldfish crackers or something so that my tummy will stop hurting.
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm just trying to achieve my goals. This month, it's to gain another 10 pounds (it'll be the third month in a row). For some reason, I've outgrown ALL the maternity clothes you've lent me.
