In the dark of night, when Sam and I are downstairs and everything is silent, sometimes one of us goes to put a disc in the DVD player. So we push "open," and the tray opens, but before we can get the disc in . . .
THE TRAY CLOSES AGAIN!!!
Usually this happens two or three times. It'll snap your finger inside if you're not careful. And then, without warning, the tray will start working again . . . as if it never happened!!
The machine is obviously possessed.
ReplyDeleteoooh, spooooooooky. Love the pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I hear a clock ticking at night even though there's no clock in our bedroom. It totally creeps me out.
Okay, so before I read your "scary" story, I went through and read all the state hospital ones and they totally spooked me OUT!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd then I read yours, and it sucked in comparison.
Sorry. But reading it after reading about all the crazy ghosts at the state insane asylum cracked me up to no end!
Awesome.
cerstb.
I agree. Possessed. Get a new one, fast.
ReplyDeletekay, that's all we need, a haunted DVD player. I myself don't know where the state hospital stories are, not being the same age as you guys and thus not privy to the Young Mothers' Blog circle kind of thing, but I don't care because I HATE scary stories to DEATH. Yours was quite enough, thank you. And I did not think it sucked at all. Our DVD isn't possessed. I wouldn't mind if somebody re=possessed it because it DOES suck.
