Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.

ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteAnother miracle and blessing from heaven! He's adorable. Congrats on the addition to your lovely family.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love it when people are happy about big families. :)
DeleteI love the one with his little tummy poking out. And his cord is already off! Clever boy. Some of mine had them just hanging by a thread and snagging and the like for what seemed forever.
ReplyDeleteHa! Yes! Those ugly snaggy cord stumps. I'm always relieved to see the last of them.
DeleteYay!!! YAY! YAY! YAY!! I am so glad I finally got to see him. He's beautiful and perfect and I love him already!!! Congrats to the whole family and I hope everything is going just as well as it can.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I can't wait for you to meet him! I'm about to send you pictures of the laundry room, in all its glory, too.
DeleteCongrats! I never can get enough of newborns sleeping with their fists up over their heads.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, I love that...and the "fencing pose" too. So cute! :)
