As I think I've said already, having an unseasonably warm February and March was so nice! We got to play outside during many of our Field Trip days, with minimal outerwear. There were even a couple days where we got to pick up Sam from BYU during his free hour between classes and have him come to a playground with us. So fun!
A comfortable place to read?

Some really good fresh orange ice cream Goldie and Junie made for us
After some much-needed rain
Gus learned how to make paper boats and went WILD making dozens of them. He made them at all their extremes, from tiny…
…to enormous!
We also made foil boats one night for Family Home Evening, trying to see which design could hold the most pennies.
Good thing Junie has a large penny collection!
One day we had a fun visit to the BYU Museum of Art…
…after which, in classic "I'm-going-to-build-this-when-I-get-home" fashion, the kids made their own museum at home.
My favorite part part was this informative exhibit showing how gold leaf is applied to a sculpture. (This mirrored, you may have guessed, a similar exhibit at the MOA.) As you can see, there are many steps to the process, as you have to restore the plaster, make a cast, apply varnish, apply the gold leaf, seal it, and so on.
Of course, the kids just wanted to play on the iPads!
A rare appearance of Malachi at our house (Gus was excited to match "so we can make a sticker of us matching," haha)
Bunnies with their ears tied (this is how Clementine "does their hair")
Sweet potato salad and Muffin picnic
The kids loved this (comparatively) tiny model of the Bingham Copper Mine
There's a little mini pioneer house and farm to play in
(Gus carrying a chicken just like the old days)
And there's a little store
