Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.

Um....you don't look like you're about to have a baby in that picture on the bike. I'm so confused.
ReplyDeleteHmm. It's because my belly is sticking straight out in front of me. You need the sideways perspective to get the full effect (I had 2 ladies at church ask me if I was having twins, so, trust me, I was not tiny). :)
