Last night was lovely. We saw baby (teenage?) ducks, and then the sunset was such a bright orange-red. The sky looked like one of those slow Hawaiian lava flows, sweeps of blue-grey edged by fire.

Her perspective was a little different from yours. Together, it's an altogether astonishing thing.
Whatever the perspective, I missed it. G remarked on it, but I was collapsed on the couch and too limp to look. Not too limp now to kick myself repeatedly.
