This is the time of year that I feel grateful for nice weather rather than entitled to it.
Which is really much better for the soul, don't you think?

Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.

It probably is better for the soul, now that you mention it. It makes us take advantage of the loveliness when it comes instead of ignoring it!
ReplyDeleteAdorable photo, you cute things!
When did Abe get so big and how do you stay so beautiful?
ReplyDeletewv: gliticke. Now that's fun to say.
Ah, you did it again. What a delight you are, Mar.
ReplyDeletePerfect statement. Entitlement is getting old. REALLY old. As Brian would say "The lazy man's way out."
