(Cider brought home for later. Mmm.)

Back along the country lane (pulled by a tractor)
"So many of us! So many of us!"
Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.

So fun. I'm hoping we're going to get to go pick some punkins on saturday.
ReplyDeleteI need you to come take some pictures of my kids. I haven't taken anything worth keeping, lately. And I haven't been taking any. So.
ReplyDeleteYour boys are so darling marilyn!
ReplyDeleteHey, did you guys make it to the big red barn again for some cider on Saturday? I hope I didn't stay too long and keep you from going! Thanks for sharing the cider with me, Abe--it was SCRUMPTIOUS!
ReplyDeleteI love the Pumpkin Patch! Of course, anything in Vegas wouldn't equal yours in Santaquin, but we'll take what we can get. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you wrote for the Spanish Fork newspaper -- how cool is that? What's your beat? I'm not worth any pointers at this time of my life. I'm just consulting the AP Guide and am reviewing past articles I've written.
I've seen Les Mis a few times (the traveling Broadway productions -- definitely not London's version), but I loved the Tuachan one the best (maybe it was the setting -- not sure). Most of the cast were BYU performance grads, and they were fantastic. Unfortunately, the last performance was on Saturday. I need to go more often . . . it's not too far from me, and we're culturally starved in Sin City.
You know, I've been meaning to get together with Philip and Allison on one of our many Disneyland trips (our season passes just expired, so we were always down there). With the craziness of travel, I just never got around to it.
