Lots of fun and excitement today at the Bike Carwash. Water sprayers . . . fwumpy brushes . . . soap sprayers . . . flaps . . . and so forth.
Also, 4 sparkling clean bikes (and trikes)
Children's voices in the orchard
Between the blossom- and the fruit-time:
Golden head, crimson head,
Between the green tip and the root.
Black wing, brown wing, hover over;
Twenty years and the spring is over;
To-day grieves, to-morrow grieves,
Cover me over, light-in-leaves;
Golden head, black wing,
Cling, swing,
Spring, sing,
Swing up into the apple-tree.

You're a good mom: you play with your kids. Please don't tell me you do it all day, everyday because then I'll feel even more substandard.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you should say that, because I was thinking as we were playing in that carwash, "This is the first time I've played with my kids all week." Shortly thereafter I went in and read my book while they kept playing outside.
ReplyDeleteSo, no . . . I don't do it all day. :)
Jacob should live with you, Mar. He lives in a house with mostly girls all day, and there are only girls in the neighborhood. He is STARVED for boy-stuff and would have loved your bike carwash!
